been himself an inventor of 2 U.S. patents, which are allowed in German and in Taiwan (the graphics on this page along with those on the other pages, are figures used in one of the invention patents of Dr. PEN); he understands, thus, how much sweat an innovation it took. He treasures every one, which goes all the way from a proved innovation to patent application;

worked for three years as Patent examiner for TIPO;

been Patent and Trademark Attorney registered at TIPO since 2003;

been working for formerly  Dr. Hsu & Hsu, and now Doctor Patent Attorneys in Taipei (translated for Patent and Trademark applications from German and English into Chinese) since 1990;

studied for five years in Germany and obtained academic degrees of Dipl. Ing. Agr. and Dr. Agr. (U. Giessen);
 

worked five more years in the Technical University of Munich as post doctorate (wissenschftlicher Mitarbeiter) on Automation Technology in the Agriculture;

lived and worked for five years as Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada;
 

acquired Canadian life philosophy and nationality (duo citizenship);

achieved as Senior Researcher and Manager of the Mech. Industrial Research Labs., in charge of an R&D department of 11 engineers;

conducted R&D activities at Uniroyal and then Manager of the S/W Department of NDC - a 100%  IBM daughter in Hsin-Chu;

taught as professor at the National Chunghsin University, later at the Christian Chungyuan University and Lanyang Institute of Technology, on Automation Engineering, Information Engineering, Control Theory and Electronics, etc.;

worked, and still working, actively for the interests of a long list of Taiwanese, German, Swiss, Polish, French, Canadian, Belgian, Russian, Brazilian and US companies to represent them in matters concerning their intellectual property rights as Patent and Trademark Attorney in Taiwan.

been otherwise, as a person, an enthusiastic outdoor swimmer for quite some while!
