Taipei 101, used to be the tallest building in the world, is the landmark of the City Taipei, where TIPO resides. Hsinchu is about 80 Km to the south with a branch office of TIPO and possesses  a fish harbor.  

Hsinchu is also a technological city known as the “Silicon Valley” of Taiwan for its Industrial Park, HSP. HSP has some 400 Hi-Tec Firms, in the categories of :

Big names like TSMC, UMC, AUO, Logitech, etc. are on her 632 ha site and she made a turnover of around US$32.5 billion (NT$1.08 trillion) in 2004, representing a growth of 31% over 2003. The Hsinchu harbor is the closest to the mainland China, and is thus potential for future trade for the immense resources from across the Taiwan strait.
